    Job Description/Responsibilities

    The Technical Services Chemist will help drive continuous improvement by providing high-quality technical support across the Sazerac organization. This support will emphasize high-level analytical testing, data analysis, and reporting. This person will assist in the optimization of internal and external resources in order to implement technological, quality, and cost improvements across the Sazerac facilities and co-packers with the outcome of delighting our customers. They will ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices as well as compliance with government agencies’ regulatory requirements including OSHA, TTB and EPA.


    Required Skills:

    • Chemistry or related Bachelor Degree
    • Minimum of 3 years applicable experience
    • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at one time
    • Excellent analytical, technical and PC skills
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Demonstrated sensory aptitude
    • Must be willing to travel


    Preferred Skills:

    • Master’s Degree
    • 5 or more years applicable experience
    • Previous experience in Alcohol Beverage industry
    • Previous experience working with external/intern auditors
