    Job Description/Responsibilities

    General Manager, Bond & Royal is responsible for driving the development of business unit across categories, channels and countries.


    • Contribute to Sazerac's overall financial performance by developing and delivering B & R long term global growth plan and annual operating plan.
    • Lead inter-department partnerships by working closely with Brand and Sales Teams to align on state priorities.
    • Develop a plan to manage and prioritize resources to achieve goals, including the creation of KPI's.  Prioritize KPIs & resources to achieve goals and use Portal and VIP to measure and analyze progress against priority brands. 
    • Develop and assign KPIs for the team and ensure they are focused on the key priorities for the market.
    • Develop, implement and drive programs which will ensure achievement of KPIs as well as establish accountability for B&R team.
    • Collaborate with brand and sales teams and ensure proactive communication to all parties
    • Be an expert in the categories and competitive space and provide intelligence regarding trends and emerging consumer behavior and consumption patterns. Look for opportunities to develop the appropriate new brand acquisitions in the B&R portfolio.
    • Manage and develop Strong relationships with suppliers.
    • Ensure objectives are aligned and plans are delivered to achieve goals.
    • Partner in the process to manage pricing structures, outside supplier relationships and market visits.  Communicate competitive pricing issues, coordinate supplier training and market visits as needed.
    • Coach and develop the Bond & Royal Craft Spirit Specialists.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
    • Bachelor Degree in Business or commensurate experience
    • Excellent oral & written communication skills
    • Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry
    • Proficient in Microsoft office products
    • Record of successful leadership
    • Proven strong analytical and technical skills
    • Willingness to travel
    • A valid driver's license
    • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
    • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience
    • 3 to 5 years relevant experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong planning and organizational skills: Preferred
    • Marketing Experience: Preferred
    • Supervisory experience: Preferred
