    In 2009, we became a part of Sazerac Company which was established in 1850 and is a leading U.S. spirits supplier, with the world's most decorated distillery, and a portfolio of award-winning brands. 

    Job Description/Responsibilities

    Barton 1792 Distillery is in search of an experienced off (2nd or 3rd) shift Distillery Supervisor to join our stable and growing organization. A distillery supervisor is responsible for but not limited to:

    • Planning, organizing, evaluating, and leading the production activitites of the distillery department.
    • Ensuring all team members are adhering to all Company, OSHA, EPA, Union and Safety regulations, rules and policies.
    • Maintaining production and quality control records.
    • Supervising boiler personnel on off-shifts.
    • Establishing work schedules, methods, procedures and priorities.
    • Completing additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or ralated field
    • Strong analytical and technical skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Strong planning and organizational skills
    • Supervisory experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2 years relevant experience in a fast paced environment
    • Experience managing in a union environment
    • Record of successful leadership
