    Job Description/Responsibilities

    The 2nd shift Receiving Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

    • Leading and developing union employees to achieve high quality, cost effective production in a safe and well-maintained facility. Develops employees, leverages skills and resources, and wisely manages assets, all within an environment of continuous improvement. 
    • Meeting internal and external customer requirements by ensuring that daily deliveries are verified, material inventory records are up to date, and information is communicated in a timely manner
    • Supervising the receipt and unloading of various bottling materials including closures, labels, bottles, and adhesives andalso supervise receipt of goods for other departments. 
    • Verifying accuracy of shipment against shipping documents as freight is unloaded and document and investigate discrepancies. 
    • Ensuring information is recorded accurately in company systems to update inventory records.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Required Skills for the Receiving Supervisor Position:

    • 3 years of relevant experience (minimum)
    • Bachelor degree in a business related field

     

    Preferred Skills for the Receiving Supervisor position:

    • Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry
    • Experience managing in a union environment
    • Manufacturing supervisory experience
