    Job Description/Responsibilities

    Our company is currently experiencing exciting growth and with this growth comes a need for solid leadership at each and every one of our Sazerac facilities. The Glenmore Distillery is currently in search of experienced going through exciting growth and as we continue to expand/evolve we are in search of 2 Assistant Bottling Managers to develop plant supervisors as well as hourly production employees. The Assistant Bottling Manager position is responsible for, but not limited to:

    • Managing departmental activities of bottling operation
    • Leading/planning/directing the resources to meet safety expectations, production requirements, continuous improvement project activities, and stretch targets for the department.
    • Managing/mentoring first level supervision and departmental clerks
    • Spearheading operations to maximize utilization of resources to achieve departmental efficiency and budget adherence
    • Leading Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives to support the Operations Vision.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Required Qualifications of the Position

    • Bachelor Degree in Business or Related Field
    • At least 3 years of management experience within fast paced manufacturing environments
    • Proven success and experience in the areas of LEAN, Continuous Improvement, and Kaizen initiatives
    • Well versed in collaborating with maintenance, quality, and safety leadership to achieve operational goals

    Preferred Qualifications of the Position:

     

    • Master's Degree in Business or related field
    • Experience in the food & beverage industry
    • Organizational Development experience
    • Supply Chain Experience
    • Excellent organizational skills
