    Job Description/Responsibilities

    Position: Assistant General Manager, Sazerac House

    Location: Intersection of Canal and Magazine St., New Orleans, LA

    Why Open?: New Position, New Location!

     

    The Sazerac House Assistant General Manager manages the Sazerac House gift shop, facilities and maintenance team and customer service team; makes recommendations for the improvement of the visitor's experience; participates in the VIP and tasting program; implements the gift shop and consumer service portion of the strategic plan; assists the General Manager with execution of visitor related services, and other assigned tasks.  

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Requirements:

    • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
    • Excellent oral & written communication skills
    • Must be a team player
    • Ability to project a professional image
    • Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
    • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
    • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience
    • 3 years of relevant experience
    • 3 years of experience in Customer Service

    Preferred

    • Strong planning and organizational skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
    • 2 years of experience in monthly inventory and accounting closes
    • 3 years of experience in customer service, retail
    • Experience related services, and other assigned tasks
