    The Glenmore Distillery has been a fixture in the Owensboro Community since the late 1800s. During Prohibition, The Glenmore Distillery was fortunate enough to be one of four   distilleries in the country allowed to operate on a limited scale for medicinal necessity.

     

    In March of 2009 the Sazerac Company purchased the distillery and reprised the name The Glenmore Distillery. The distillery boasts one of the largest and most modern bottling facilities in the country and continues to be a sizable employer in the city of Owensboro, KY.

    Job Description/Responsibilities

    Come be a part of our team, where your efforts will further grow our distillery’s story! Our technical rotation program was developed to build a team of operational leadership talent that will support the needs of our expanding and evolving organization.

     

    Buffalo Trace Distillery's Technical Rotation Program offers an exceptional opportunity to begin a career in engineering while also  gaining experiences in operational leadership roles. Through   business-critical projects, you will gain a thorough understanding of our industry, develop your technical/professional skill sets all while directly contributing to company growth.

     

    EXPECTATIONS OF TECHNICAL ROTATION PROGRAM

    • 2 year, 3+ rotation program involving multiple departments including: engineering/maintenance, bottling production, processing, planning, supply chain, and distilling.
    • Opportunity to lead projects and teams within multiple facilities
    • Professional development by senior Sazerac leadership Continual feedback throughout rotational       program

     

     

    Qualifications/Requirements

     REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Engineering, Management, Business or other related degree
    • Must be at least 21 years old
    • Cumulative GPA =3.0 (out of 4.0)
    • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

     PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Successful completion of at least 2 manufacturing based internship and/or co-op rotations
    • Passion for learning and growing your engineering skill set
    • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
    • Desire to lead teams
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong work ethic
    • Related coursework
