    Job Description/Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:  

    • Manages human resources functions including counseling managers on policies, procedures, and activities for salaried and hourly personnel
    • Remains current on health, retirement and other company benefits
    • Advises employees about benefits
    • Maintains personnel records
    • Advises managers/supervisors about union contract requirements
    • Schedules hourly employees for daily work assignments
    • Interviews prospective job candidates


    • 2+ Years of Sitting Site HR Leadership Experience at a Manufacturing Plant
    • 3+ Years of Union Relations Experience
    • 7+ Years of Progressive Human Resources Experience
    • 3+ Years of Experience with Co-Leading Grievance
    • 1+ Contract Negotiation: Sitting as the 1st or 2nd HR Chair in Partnership
    • 3+ Years of Experience with Co-Leading Grievance Management, Understanding the Root Cause/Trends of the Grievance
    • 2+ Years of Benefits Administration & Wellness Programs at a Localized Level
