    Job Description/Responsibilities

    The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing multiple payrolls for the company including exempt and non-exempt employees in multiple states/global entities; ensuring all employee self-service updates related to direct deposit, W4 and other pay related information are accurate.  This role will also respond to internal customers’ questions, audit pay groups within scope of responsibility and communicate discrepancies to the Payroll Audit and Tax Analyst.   Additionally, the successful candidate will prepare reports to provide requested information in support of 401(k) audits involving payroll information, work with the Payroll Audit and Tax Analyst to ensure all payroll tax deductions are set up correctly for assigned payrolls and that all tax payments for federal, state and local withholding, and federal and state unemployment taxes are balanced and research and correct all tax discrepancies.    This role will also recommend system enhancements and work with the Benefits and Payroll Manager to implement changes to company payroll setup including the timekeeping system and employee self-service.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • 5 - 10 years relevant experience: Must
    • Excellent analytical and PC skills: Must
    • Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Business or related field: Must
    • Detail oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy: Must
    • Experience with Ceridian payroll system: Preferred
    • Multi-state payroll experience: Preferred
    • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification: Preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems / processes: Must
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time: Must
