    The Regional Account Manager is responsible for driving distribution, programming, and volume growth of the Alternative Beverage Alcohol (ABA) portfolio in the mid-Atlantic and southeast region. They will be introducing a new portfolio targeting both existing and new retailers and new consumers through a new set of distributor partners. This role will also be the subject matter expert for alternative beverage alcohol within an off premise team.

    Job Description/Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Introduce concepts and products to chain retailers in order to gain authorizations and programming. This role will be working with a new portfolio targeting existing and new retailers and consumers through new distributor partners
    • Identify opportunities that support long-term objectives and use fact-based selling to secure distribution and promotional activity.
    • Build the ABA portfolio to scale where it justifies consistent programming and increased investment from Sazerac and the assigned account base.
    • Work closely with ABA sales team to gather state pricing and ensure execution/compliance.
    • Develop consultative relationships with retailers driven by mutual success and growth.
    • Strengthen existing and develop new relationships within the mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
    • Understand brand prioritization by state and customer for key brands.
    • Regular interaction with state managers and National Account Management team to inform of progress and how ABA interacts with their traditional portfolios.
    • Secure, understand and utilize national and state level pricing standards and deviations for use with the strategic account presentations and execution compliance.

    Qualifications/Requirements

     Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 5-10 years’ of National Account/Key Account experience (both on and off premise)
    • Proven success in a leadership role
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
    • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent Organizational skills
    • Ability and willingness to travel

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MBA
    • 5-10 years’ experience in the Alcohol Beverage Industry
