    Barton Brands of California is a leading producer and supplier of beverage alcohol.  Located in Carson, California, the company has been processing and bottling fine spirits for More than 30 years.  The facility is part of the Sazerac family of companies.

    Job Description/Responsibilities

    We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a production line personnel position. The line personnel is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

    • Responsible for achieving production goals of cost, efficiency, quality, and safety
    • Sanitation and cleanliness of the machines and the surrounding areas
    • Monitor product and packaging quality to assure Company and customer standards are met
    • Responsible for accurately recording production performance data in a timely fashion
    • Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments
    • Safely operate manufacturing equipment
    • Other related duties as required

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent, 2 years of technical schooling preferred
    • Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
    • Work with a high degree of accuracy and work at a pace to meet production goals
    • Ability to check completed product vs. specifications
    • Good vision and manual dexterity
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
    • Ability to safely operate industrial equipment as required
    • Ability to use simple hand tools for machine adjustments
    • Good basic math skills
    • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office preferred
    • Good communication skills to include the ability to read and to document work
    • Demonstrated ability to work with and motivate others
    • Good physical health. For example: walk, sit, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and squatting often
    • Some physical exertion required on the production floor - standing for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry, and/or move product and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
    • Ability to take directions and follow through with duties and work rules
    • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
    • Excellent past attendance record
    • Demonstrated mechanical ability in a manufacturing environment preferred
    • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry preferred
    • Ability to operate a forklift safely preferred
    • No less than 12 months continuous experience in every previous job preferred
