    SBA, Inc. is a Sazerac company engaged in increasing brand awareness of brands such as Fireball, Buffalo Trace, Dr. McGillicuddy’s, Tuaca, and Southern Comfort through grassroots marketing, nurturing and growing relationships with customers and business partners, conducting promotions and providing resources to effectively execute sales drivers.

    Job Description/Responsibilities

    The Sales Brand Ambassador works to build brands and drive commercial growth against specific goals.  The ideal candidate has 2 years experience planning promotions and events, and can tap into their existing relationships with key bartenders, and decision makers.  This person has a creative mind and knows how to connect our brands with an influential consumer audience.  

     

    This position will focus on both on and off premise accounts working with the 1792, Buffalo Trace and Wheatley Vodka brand.

     

    As a Sales Brand Ambassador for SBA, Inc. (a subsidiary of Sazerac), one is responsible for (not limited to) the following:

    • Identify target accounts and build relationships with on-premise, bartenders, waitstaff, retail managers and distributor sales personnel. 
    • Support the distributor's efforts at meeting trade priorities and goals as defined in the brand standards .
    • Perform against KPIs and achieve volume objectives for specific market within assigned field sales budget
    • Identify key market influencers, establish relationships and develop into an ambassador for the brand. 
    • Create engagement opportunities for consumers through on premise tastings, dry demos and events and promote engagement opportunities through word of mouth and social media channels.
    • Develop on-premise relationships with bartenders and buyers to educate and influence on the brand portfolio and garner brand support 
    • In addition to the annual salary, this position offers a stipend for cell/internet.  Mileage and parking are reimbursable expenses.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • 21+ years old 
    • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends) 
    • Valid Driver’s License 
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously 
    • Willingness to travel 
    • Strong planning and organizational skills
    • Candidate must reside in or near the territory
    • Must be able to personally pay or charge ordinary and necessary business expenses that will be timely reimbursed
    • Must be able to obtain relevant solicitors permit in any state

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Previous experience in Wine & Spirits Industry
    • Minimum 2 years of sales or marketing experience
    • Undergraduate Degree 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Products
