The Region Manager - Control States East position will assist in achieving the organization's strategic & commercial goals for the control east region. Primary responsibilities will be focused in NC and VA but will have secondary responsibilities in MS, AL, WV, PA, ME, NH, and VT.  

Ideal candidate will have experience managing a portfolio of business in a control state environment. This position will report to the Control States East Division Manager and will work closely to achieve Market KPI’s.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in Delivery of yearly goals & provide excellence in execution across control state network 
• Communicate and implement commercial marketing and local execution strategies
• Maintain pricing strategy and provide insightful feedback based on market conditions (to Include quarterly pricing surveys)
• Plan & execute national/local sales programs with brokers & key accounts to ensure KPIs are achieved
• Develop and manage a key account list (on/off) to build brand awareness.
• Assist with new item submissions and listing presentations.
• Build & maintain strong relationships with broker partners & key accounts.
• Drive KPI goals by state (Shelf, Display, Ad's, Distribution, Menu, Backbar) 
• Successfully launch innovation with State Boards as well as distributor partners
• Manage individual budget and utilize appropriately to drive ROI through intelligent planning
• Actively identify market opportunities & capitalize as necessary
• Adopt an Owner's mentality and make business decisions accordingly
• Provide insight for new merchandising and product strategies within target markets
• Coordinate and organize POS requests to compliment national and local programs
• Create and implement strategic local activations to drive brand awareness
• Interpret sales and trend data and utilize to grow market share

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Spirits within the control state network (Broker experience a plus)
• Excellent written, oral & presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills 
• Proficient computer skills (PPT, Excel, Word) & solid understanding of how to source, read & turn data into selling story (VIP, NABCA data, etc.)
• Demonstrate track record of performance & delivery
• Travel required 70% (depending on market conditions)
