Job Description/Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager for Shooter Brands will lead brand growth, including brand strategy and new business development in the expansive Shooter category. They will also work closely with Sales and Regional Trade Marketing teams, agencies, and trade partners to achieve objectives. This role reports to the Brand Director, Shooter Portfolio. This role can be done remotely. 

 

Priorities of the position include (but are not limited to):

  • For assigned brands, develop an annual budget, create marketing plans, drive NBD and ensure plan is executed to reach sales objectives.
  • Define and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and other initiatives to create focus and drive results.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and procurement on assigned projects and brands.
  • Achieve brand state priority objectives through sales and marketing focus and execution.
  • Work with the sales team to identify distribution and pricing opportunities.
  • Help National Accounts win significant business for assigned brands.
  • Manage agency creative work on package development, marketing materials, sales materials, public relations and media for all assigned NBD and brand projects.
  • Partner with Brand Director in achieving brand state priority objectives and meeting annual objectives for assigned brands. Prioritize time & resources to evaluate and analyze progress on brands most critical to achieving growth and contribution objectives.
  • For assigned brands, lead global plans including packaging, marketing, and sales support.
  • Follow company protocol to concept, plan, develop, and successfully launch and grow NBD assignments in collaboration with the Brand Director. Includes formula development, procurement, compliance, forecasting, costing, pricing, production planning, item setup coordination, and brand planning.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program
  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Intermediate to advanced computer and computer application skills
  • Proven history of driving results in high-visibility, fast-pace environments
  • Exposure to consumer-facing marketing 
  • Willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Brand Management experience
  • Experience in New Business Development
  • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience
  • Demonstrated active learner with the ability to make independent observations, and "connect the dots"
  • Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry and familiarity with three-tier distribution or consumer goods products or fast moving consumer goods
