Job Description/Responsibilities

The Brand Manager - Global Markets is responsible for the management and execution of the Sazerac global strategic plan, annual marketing plan, activation and budget to ensure marketing plans achieve volume and financial objectives in global BCSP markets. This role works closely with our Global Sales and Marketing teams, agencies and trade partners to achieve brand objectives and build Sazerac into a profitable and highly recognized portfolio of brands globally.


  • Build global marketing perspective based on channel, trade and consumer intel. Use this intel to contribute to the development of global marketing plans, annual global forecast & budget planning, the implementation of global brand strategy and ensure marketing plans achieve volume and financial objectives.
  • Play a critical role in growing Sazerac global portfolio into a profitable global consumer business consistent with the company's overall strategy. Support Marketing and Sales team in the development and execution of strategic global brand building plans including yearly activity calendars and budgets. Ensure alignment to channel strategy and SKU prioritization. Communicate and re-enforce key brand priorities with global markets.
  • Support Global teams in managing advertising, promotion, media and other agencies to efficiently achieve brand plans and commercial objectives. Ensure execution against activity calendar and brand strategic priorities while driving brand consistency to drive trade and consumer brand awareness globally.
  • Prioritize time and resources against those brand/country/state priorities most critical to achieving current and long term brand growth & contribution objectives. Work closely with Global Sales & Marketing teams to ensure that brand/country/state prioritizations are aligned to and the brands are performing on profit, volume and KPI metrics.
  • Lead the strategic brand planning work. Participate in trimester & team meetings. Lead the execution of strategic plans and ensure that the brands perform in a manner consistent with the company's overall strategy with key global markets.
  • Drive the identification, development and execution of high value global NBD opportunities that drive brand growth. Follow company protocol to concept, plan, develop, launch and successfully execute global innovation projects.
  • Utilize PDS system and available resources to identify areas for continuous self-improvement in order to improve effectiveness in role and to achieve goals. Regularly dedicate time to growing the skills outlined in the Development Plan. Use the PDS system to record examples and areas of practice, and learnings.
  • Establish well organized priorities and weekly plans for yourself. For projects and tasks this role leads, ensure the project team is comprised of the right team members, they understand their roles, updates are posted, and priorities are successfully completed. Goal is to ensure that progress is made on priorities and projects and that the level of Informing is appropriate.
  • Develop an understanding of skills needed to meet your career goals and follow an action plan to gain the learning experiences needed. Use the CDS system to record progress.



  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Excellent project management skills

  • 3+ years Global market experience
  • 3+ years brand management experience
  • 5+ years business experience
  • Requires Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience.


  • National Accounts Experience (on and off premise)
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing
