The Glenmore Distillery has been a fixture in the Owensboro Community since the late 1800s. During Prohibition, The Glenmore Distillery was fortunate enough to be one of four distilleries in the country allowed to operate on a limited scale for medicinal necessity.
In March of 2009 the Sazerac Company purchased the distillery and reprised the name The Glenmore Distillery. The distillery boasts one of the largest and most modern bottling facilities in the country and continues to be a sizable employer in the city of Owensboro, KY.

Smith Bowman Distillery. In 2014, Sazerac was awarded one of the spirits industry’s highest honors – Distiller of the Year by the International Wine & Spirits Competition.
Provide legal support to sales and marketing. Assists in the maintenance of the company's trademarks, conducts knock out searches and begins the clearance process for new trademarks, assists with the enforcement of trademark rights globally. Provides review of advertising and marketing for U.S. team. Conducts state surveys to provide guidance to sales and marketing. Responsible for maintaining the Global Compliance Tool and TMS. Manages regulatory requirement related importing tequila
- Review labels, advertising and promotions from sales and marketing to ensure compliance with federal, state and country trade practices and marketing regulations. Engages outside counsel and local counsel to assist in compliance reviews. Ensure that the company is in compliance with tequila regulations to ensure that the importation of tequila from Mexico. Conduct surveys of laws and regulations.
- Identifies improvements in providing legal services related to trademarks, advertising, marketing and sales globally. Maintains and improves Trademark Management System and Global Compliance System.
- Responsible for ensuring that formulas, labels and shippers are compliant in the US and Globally. Engages local counsel and consultants to review formulas, labels and shippers. Submits formulas and labels to TTB for approval. Develops relationships with key TTB employees to assist in the approval process.
- Utilize PPT as a task/project management tool where and when appropriate. Use PPT to accelerate progress on projects, identify / keep in contact with team members and make sure all projects are up to date.
- Work with brand team and outside counsel on maintaining TM portfolio, provide knockout clearance to brand team and work with outside counsel on preliminary clearances, monitor activity in TMS, issue initial Cease & Desist letters in certain enforcement activity, maintain coexistence and settlement agreements, work with brand team on certain license agreements, interface with outside counsel on necessary projects.
- Use PDS to enhance performance within the company through evaluation, planning, and goal execution. Strive to constantly develop oneself as a valuable asset through personal and professional growth and attention to the position’s outcomes.
- Utilize CDS system to identify training needs and design development curriculum, programs and content for the purpose of preparing for career opportunities within the company. Provide feedback to manager regarding on-the-job learning opportunities.

Nestled at the corner of Canal Street and Magazine Street, and less than 350 yards from the original Sazerac Coffee House, The Sazerac House will be New Orleans’ most memorable destination offering an enriching sensory experience that embodies the city’s spirited and historic character.
The Sazerac House will take its visitors through a journey of the history and culture of spirits in New Orleans showcasing the company’s brands relevant to the city of yesterday and today.
The part-time Experience Ambassador is responsible for creating a welcoming, entertaining and educational atmosphere to all visitors of the Sazerac House and internal customers. This person provides exceptional customer service and is recognized as an advocate of the Sazerac House featured brands and spirited experience.
The Fleet Coordinator organizes and communicates fleet dispatch; schedules pickup and delivery appointments, assists Traffic Mgr in fleet compliance with FMCSA, FRA, PHMSA regs and Liquor Transporter Permits; audits, organizes and files driver trip documents including POD; supports fleet performance reporting: generates freight invoices and maintains files: works with Materials Managers to support on time p/u and delivery of materials to Sazerac plants: supports Shipping Clerk as needed.
- Coordinate loads assigned to Sazerac Transportation. Manage appointment system for Sazerac Transportation to ensure all loads are scheduled on time. Ensure all internal customer expectations are met. Ensures work flow; organizes orders and ensures drop equipment loaded by requested ship date; ship confirms orders in ERP; processes BOL and manifests; checks daily and monthly shipping reports; and tracks shipping errors, code freight invoices, and prints load plan picks.
- Execute processes, reports and data entry in SYS21 and TMS. Partner with internal and external customers to enhance reports, process flow and communications related to transportation and purchase orders. Assist Department Manager with priority setting of tasks for other department personnel. Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices. Responsibility includes super user knowledge of TMS for use with location and fleet services.
- Support Materials and Distribution Center Manager with inventory control. Work closely with purchasing and all facilities to ensure timely and cost efficient methods.
- Understand and comply with safety requirements of Transportation Department; keep safety top of mind at all times and prevent co-workers from working unsafely. Report safety concerns, accidents and near misses immediately. Participate in safety inspections and accident investigations. Keep workplace clean and free of debris at all times.Continuously use and update the priority system to ensure efforts are focused on position outcomes and priorities. Update progress and successes in the Priority System.
- Use PDS to enhance performance within the company through evaluation, planning, and goal execution. Strive to constantly develop oneself as a valuable asset through personal and professional growth and attention to the position’s outcomes.
- Document processes in contacting carriers; scheduling fleet pickup and deliveries. Maintains SOPs for shipping and dispatch functions. Streamline the document management flow (BOL's, scan folders, archives, etc.) process.
- Establish well organized priorities for yourself. Provide the appropriate parties with regular feed back and timely updates. Utilize PPT system to continuously improve planning and organization.
- Utilize CDS system to identify training needs and design development curriculum, programs and content for the purpose of preparing for career opportunities within the company. Provide feedback to manager regarding on-the-job learning opportunities.

Bio: This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of system solutions to ensure that goals and business unit objectives are met. Understands the long term business needs of assigned business units, and ensures those goals are enabled with an optimal systems architecture. This role will serve as a liaison between internal customers our development teams.
